While I can get what you're saying, taking those steps will just get the players and the club into bother, whereas if they totally humiliate then, which is possible, that might be a better outcome.

Isn't this the same thing spaffer found out when he wanted to be PM, then when he got the job, really didn't do a very good job of it and seemed to just want to avoid doing PM duties like attending COBRA meetings.
