Just like the BBC in Scotland, Laura Kuenssberg is stepping up the deliberate errors to knock The SNP. Twice she claimed the UK Gov was supplying £10bn to build warships on the Clyde. This is false. The £10bn will come from Norway after it signed a deal with BAE systems.

The man who bribed Gill - Oleh Voloshyn - is part of a much wider network of pro-Russian actors.

He worked with this guy, an FSB agent, who I've been fascinated by for years,

My investigation for @thenerve.news shows how Gill was a pawn in a Kremlin operation that spanned both Europe & US

NEW: The British politician, his Russian intelligence handler & a Kremlin plot against the US & Ukraine.

My new piece about Nathan Gill and Nigel Farage for @thenerve_news in which we ask:

Why, even now, is no-one asking questions?

but it happened in 2011 because more people voted snp 1 and 2. If the same % did the same in 2021 the snp would've had the 1 more msp for a majority. We could've had our 2nd referendum by now.

so there are 73 constituency FPTP seats, + 56 regional seats. So yes, we could get the 65 majority on constituencies alone, but tough ask. The SNP won list msps in 2011 because a higher % of voters voted 1 And 2. It was only after that some started agitating voting for another party on2nd ballot

The SNP's very unlikely to broadcast how it works because it would illustrate why a list vote for a party that's successful in the constituency seats is more or less a wasted vote. (It becomes worth about a sixth or a seventh of the other votes). That's why people advocate SNP:1, Scottish Greens: 2.

Difficult to get your head round the d'Hondt method, but basically for every seat a party wins in a region (constituency/ regional),the party's list votes are divided by that number plus one. Why it's well-nigh impossible to win both constituency and list seats.

With WM able to over-ride Holyrood on anything it likes (including Scots Law if it's so inclined) I can't somehow see that approach having any success but good luck in giving it a go when it comes to it .

Commendable, from John Swinney

“…there is “no way” his government is “going to go along with it”.

This kind of determination requires courage and risk. The attitude needed when Starmer/Sunak blocked an Indyref, instead of mild acceptance.

Isn’t the very fabric of devolution created to ensure there is no majority in Holyrood and that 2011 was a fluke and hasn’t happened since, tbh my heads all over the place re how to vote and wish the SNP or a politician would podcast how it actually works and why.

A minority government has no clout and no mandate for an indyref. We need a MAJORITY gov, and the only way to achieve that is following 2011 strategy.... both votes SNP. Even if we have a parliament full of independence supporting MSP's, we don't have a majority government, therefore no mandate.
