Like others, I’m getting many Palestinian gofundme followers. I’d like to support them, but apart from scam risk, I just can’t afford to help them all.
Instead I donate to UNRWA and condemn Israel and its allies in constantly breaking international laws.
Know that people are helping, how they can. 🇵🇸

Wonder if the ‘plan’ would work with an Indy majority?
scozia.bsky.social
JS should’ve said ideally SNP majority next year, but focused on Indy majority as the target.
Then, as he points out, when Starmer refuses Indyref he should have the same response he’s had for digital id…

…”no way” his government is “going to go along with it”.

That’s the fighting spirit we need🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Commendable, from John Swinney

“…there is “no way” his government is “going to go along with it”.

This kind of determination requires courage and risk. The attitude needed when Starmer/Sunak blocked an Indyref, instead of mild acceptance.

Nowhere in this report have you said Israel did this. It wasn’t result of a hurricane or an accident that caused this destruction in Gaza. It was Israel and Netanyahu.
Tell it like it is Sky News. Israel destroyed these homes, towns, hospitals, universities, schools.
Israel is committing genocide.

A large Indy majority is possible if SNP coordinated with the Scottish Greens, which would also reduce the number of union parties in Holyrood.

Being in government is very important at the end of it, but we could end up with five more years of talking about how independence would benefit us.
scozia.bsky.social
If you mean waiting another five years and try again, then maybe another five and so on?
The system is fixed so that SNP won’t be the majority party. They managed it once, unlikely to happen this time. Working with Greens for Indy majority would’ve been better, but SNP aren’t open to Indy majority.
scozia.bsky.social
Caught last part of JS speaking about Indy plan, where he declared IF SNP get majority next year, he has a follow up plan.

IF they get a majority, but again I’m asking what happens IF they don’t?

He’ll be out of options. Unionists will use this against him.

Stephen Flynn is confident SNP will get a majority next year and Starmer will agree to Indyref, because we got one before.

It’s sickening to listen to the mutual appreciation society that is Trump and Netanyahu congratulating themselves for this pause in killing in Gaza. (imo it will resume after hostages are released)

Even if this was a lasting peace, one good act, doesn’t wipe away their crimes. #ICJ

This from SkyNews.

Is this whole ceasefire being stage managed to get Trump a photo op with the hostages, to enhance his Nobel Prize chances?

Nobel Awards would be seriously devalued if they gave one to Trump.

If Trump stopped supplying bombs/money to Israel, killing would’ve stopped already.
Donald Trump could well visit Gaza but not immediately, our US correspondent Mark Stone says during our Q&A about the peace deal - which you can watch back at the top of the page.
"He's not going to want to get his boots dusty just yet... what a photo opportunity that would be," he says.
"Of course, him with the hostages would be an extraordinary moment when it happens, but Trump in Gaza, well, that would be something that he and his team would want to make happen at some point."

And a photo of Gaza being bombed.

people get back into work.
Social Security Minister Stephen Timms has confirmed that the Department for Work and Pensions

In an interview with Disability

he said that it was
