Finished this one up after some reworking. 👌 The watercolors got too dark and heavy, so I ran the painting under water and scrubbed a lot of it off, but ended up really liking the softer ghosted look that resulted. I went over the line art again with walnut ink and called it done.

Die #Kohlendioxidemissionen sinken trotz Wirtschaftsflaute nur im Schneckentempo. Um unsere #Klimaschutzziele einzuhalten und den Planeten nicht zu grillen, müssten die Emissionen deutlich schneller sinken. Es ist derzeit nicht erkennbar, wie die Regierung das erreichen will.

Morgen im Bundesrat werdens vermutlich mixed feelings. Liegt aber auch daran: Landesregierungen müssten hier explizit sehr scharfer Kritik an #Gasbohrungen #Nordsee ZUSTIMMEN. Dann dreht das Ganze ne Runde im Bundestag und kommt zurück. Und dann reichten Enthaltungen der Länder für de facto "nein".
Wird es eng für das Abkommen? Noch steht die finale Entscheidung nicht an, aber eine Etappe.
