No wonder we took so long trying and failing to get Sesko to sign. We kept offering him a pen, he kept refusing to take it.
I’m sure there will be people in the US media praising Trump for using the word ‘seditious’ in a post.

Slightly obsessed WH Smith rebranding to TG Jones, a fictional variant of the original name, only for associates of the 1940s Everton defender TG Jones to need to stress he is not related to the business, despite he himself running his own newsagents after retirement. @footballcliches.bsky.social
What does WH Smith’s new high street name TGJones actually mean?

We should not be selling arms to Rwanda.
Arsenal are in discussions over extending their sponsorship deal with Visit Rwanda.

Arsenal fan group Gunners For Peace said discussions over extending the deal brought the club’s values into question.

What I liked most about the 4th goal is how he almost reluctantly scored from the halfway line.

The question for Ireland is whether Parrott can repeat his trick in the playoff. 🫣

At some point you wonder if some of our players are just physically broken from over-exertion.

Repeat: we’re allowed to be upset. This injury manifestly reduces our chances of winning things. It’s unlucky and a bad thing, even if it’s not as bad as it would be if we didn’t have good back ups.
Big Gabi getting a potentially big injury is something people are allowed to be upset about. Our player of the season so far, best defender in the league, a regular match winner. We have good back ups, but losing your most inspirational defender at the peak of their form is obviously a bad thing.

Someone needs to make the extended parody version of Severance about the relationship between club and international football, because that’s how I feel.

This team are now basically insured against injuries to all the star players.

Except Gabriel Magalhães; he’s not allowed to be injured.

Already fearing the worst. Groin injuries go from a couple of weeks for a small strain, around six weeks for moderate tear, or months if it’s a bit tear and surgery is required. Don’t like the fact that Gabi looked in pain. Hoping it was just the look of frustration.
