People used to dislike Stoke because of their attempts to injure players, not because they scored at set pieces. Pulis sent his players out with instructions to injure opponents, and this has been confirmed by ex players that played under him at Stoke. That is why they were roundly hated

People will call Gyökeres a flop if he doesn’t hit 40 goals a season, but he’s never going to do that in the PL as only an alien like Haaland is able to do that. I’d be delighted if he gives us 15-20 goals in all comps & bludgeons bad teams. Not have a preseason has really slowed him down too

Wouldn’t say the miss was criminal, it was a half chance that he fashioned for himself with a smart turn. I’ve seen enough to know that he’ll come good. I’m just as big a fan of Havertz as Arteta is though, & even if Gyok was banging them in I’d still like Havertz starting most games when available

It was hardly scraping a win. Fulham didn’t have a single shot on target. That’s the second PL game in a row that Arsenal have allowed 0 attempts on target. You don’t need to blow teams out of the water when you have a defence that’s currently on course to be the 2nd best defence in PL history
