Take 15 minutes out of your day and read this eloquent rebuttal to a very common white response to DEI programs. One of the most odious arguments of the current political moment is that white men are the worst victims of discrimination. We are not.
A colleague at Stanford’s business school used The Stanford Daily to argue—poorly—against DEI. The piece was riddled with historical errors and left one searching for fact, so I broke my public writing hiatus to respond.

Yes! I grew up in TX and distinctly remember, when researching my thesis on Italian fascism in the early 2000s, seeing common threads in TX GOP politics. I’ve been in disbelief about how slow people have been to see what is happening for what it is.
