My screen name covers some of it, except the part about being a progressive, middle-aged, white guy with young kids.

Things that make me happy (don't read into the order... too much): 🌊🏄🏽🤙🏽🏖️🌅 🌈♀️⚧️☮️♂️ 🐯🐕😻🐬🐳 🎷🎸🎹 🌝⭐🌠☄️ 🗺️

Four things I skeet a lot about right now:
1. We outnumber them
2. I want to know who the alleged abusers are in the files
3. Following orders you know are illegal does not absolve you of guilt
4. Due to the season, beachy things. Waves, sunsets (once the time starts working out), maybe some birds
Today's example: Joyce Carol Oates dragging Elon Musk's soul out through his eyeballs and wringing it out to see if any humanity leaked out. Spoiler alert: it didn't
One thing I like about Bluesky (it's my first real social media foray, so forgive me if I'm being naive) is that I will read a score of skeets I don't understand and then I will hit critical mass with a single skeet that ties it all together and all the previously confusing skeets now make sense

Frankly, I'm just really pissed at what I perceive as a betrayal by my own political party.

Am I understanding this correctly? SCOTUS did something right? But I can't be happy even for a second because Dems in the Senate blundered their advantage? They can't manage to do anything right, can they?

If it was one degree cooler with 1% less humidity, my 10 yo would be going bonkers right now.

Skeet of the week nominee, as it took me forever to get back to the origin of the reskeetapalooza and it was a worthwhile journey

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I think all of this is about continuing to hide secret files that document alleged abusers

This is one of my favorite new follows
Mary Ann Bickerdyke | Nurse, lawyer, and lifelong advocate for #veterans

She worked tirelessly to improve conditions for wounded soldiers during the #CivilWar, responsible for establishing 300 field hospitals during the war. She died #OTD in 1901.

Well, I changed my mind after watching a regular catch a couple of good corners. Unfortunately my first assessment was the correct one. Nonetheless, it's always good to get wet, especially when there is road dust to wash off
Good size surf this morning, but I'm not seeing any corners. Most likely no surf for me

I have just come across two accounts in close succession that appear to me to be false flag progressive bots fishing for engagement. I'm going to take it as a good sign that 1) the baddies think they need invest resources to con us over here and 2) they're pretty fricken' easy to spot

Skeet of the week nominee
Let me point out that munitions are expensive. Bullets, grenades, bombs, mortars. And all this time, we could just have been just throwing sandwiches at each other.

Apropos of all kinds of people threatening to leave NYC (or even blowing their own heads off!) based on the election results this evening, has anybody analyzed the economic impact of rich people leaving a jurisdiction en masse? Is it even negative? 🧵
