We have gone beyond dystopian to the utterly surreal, and I have suddenly realised that this is dictatorialy ‘normal’. For example, let’s have a gold dog statue in Turkmenistan and a gold Trump in Gaza. Don’t worry folks, both are totally normal.

A salutary lesson.
Cycling home last night, I was stopped at a traffic light when someone cruised past me on an unrestricted e-bike and snatched my briefcase out of the basket on the front of my bike. Despite hot pursuit, they got away.
Be aware, and stay safe.
