I had a day in the New Forest on Weds, so 4 from Shatterford + one from Holbury:
1. Crossbills around the car park
2. Lesser Spotted Woodpecker flying over my head
3. Ravens cronking
4. Siskins calling
5. The Boat-tailed Grackle still hanging around the same
residential road in Holbury

So many indicators right across the board down here in the concreted parking gardens of England:

Richard's would be fabulous! Welney WWT is the place I learned most of my birding skills, such as they are, as a teenager. A special place.
