I read an article yesterday which pointed out that Jurassic Park premiered seven months after Dracula.
So we have the absolute pinnacle achievement of olde-timey special effects, and the next major release is the first solid example of CGI being used in a serious way.

I can't think of any movie that's been more vindicated over time. Just rewatched it last night and I'm still finding new little touches everywhere.

I see people are rediscovering the TMNT RPG and realising *sotto voice* it's not actually very good, although it is probably good-by-Palladium standards.

I (finally) finished reading Dracula this morning. I'm now a little obsessed with mapping out all the places where the story changed in various interpretations, since there's a LOT of stuff I was surprised to learn wasn't part of the original novel.
