So, El Fasher looks like one of the worst single event atrocities to happen this century so far, but the evidence has come in such a trickle it seems to only now be getting verified

These 14 states have 3 close Senate races (ME, MI, NH) and about 25 close Congressional races - close to half of the competitive federal races in the 2026 election.

Great care by citizens, election administrators, and advocates will be needed to ensure fair and orderly contests.
DOJ has sued Maine, Oregon, California, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Washington, Delaware, Maryland, New Mexico, Rhode Island, and Vermont for access to its most sensitive voter data.

My firm has moved to intervene in 10 of those cases. We are working on the last 4.

WOW. @haleaziz.bsky.social with a new scoop: ICE now gets a running list of every person who is going to be taking a domestic flight inside the United States from the TSA and runs it through their database looking for targets. This explains the Babson College student's arrest.

This list is legit INSANE. Way to kill tourism, intellectual exchange and international goodwill.
NEW: Five years of social media history is only a fraction of what the US Government will shortly demand of overseas visitors.

The full requirements will end tourism in the United States.

Below is the full, mind-blowing list.

A year ago, our lawsuits helped make sure congestion pricing would go into effect on January 1, 2025. Now, the results are clear:

Congestion pricing has resulted in a marked drop in air pollution – not just in Lower Manhattan, but throughout the metro region.
Particulate pollution in the air down a whopping 22% in NYC’s congestion pricing zone.

Not only are the streets less congested, but so are our lungs.

Only one party did this. ONLY REPUBLICANS.

And we are going to punish them in November 2026 so bad they'll think 2018 (where they lost 41 seats in the House) was a cakewalk.

We're taking back the Senate, too, folks.

I turned 65 this year. I'm on Medicare. For now my insurance is safe, but I don't turn my back on those about to lose coverage, the people who will die or lose their entire life savings because of illness. People with the privilege of benefits often don't care about what's happening to others.

When Microsoft, Stripe, and Shopify supported Running Tide a few years ago, the due diligence was done by people who didn't know anything about the ocean. This was exactly why I got interested in monitoring, reporting, and verification for marine CO₂ removal. Things are very different today.

You've been hit by a car and you're fading in and out. You ask the EMTs to price the ambulance ride. You get to the ER and tell the docs you'll need a price on each service before it's done. You get cancer so it's time to put treament out to competitive bid. I can keep going...
Roger Marshall: "We want patients to become consumers again. We want patients to see what the actual prices are. We believe that if we would add the price tags to this bill, that it would save the country a trillion dollars a year."

I still can’t believe the National Science Foundation is being forced to move out of their brand new, purpose-built building because the HUD secretary thought his building was ugly.

The Trump administration is destroying the best parts of this country, and it will take decades to rebuild.
NSF

- Forced reorg

- POs down ~ 40% (DRP, most rotators not renewed, retirements)

- Forced move (and we have to pack and clean) to a building with no furniture, little to no conference space for panels, inadequate 🛜, …)

I personally love the boxes they gave us for packing.

Publish your article and get smeared.

That’s the message @dfriedman.bsky.social came away with after he emailed the Pentagon for comment and soon received a message from Posobiec.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon repeatedly asked for more time to address Dan's questions about the Goodpage profile.
