The amount of time I spend fretting and hesitating, "Oh, I don't know if I can make that change to the story. I should ask someone." before remembering that it's my freaking story and I can change whatever I want, is frightening.

Look, there are two things killing bookstores, and neither one is ebooks.

One is rent.

The other is *waves hands vaguely* everything costing too damn much.

Dating from around 1865, this hooded parka from the Aleutian Islands in southern Alaska is made from seal intestines, a naturally waterproof & windproof material. Both robust & decorative, these seal gut parkas would have been used daily to keep warm & dry in this harsh environment.

I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

Another book review! This time I've finished Strange Houses by Uketsu, the second Strange book of hopefully many more.
Strange Houses
by Uketsu ★★★☆☆ | 3/5 When a journalist is sent a blueprint of a house a friend is considering purchasing, he finds that the house contains so much more of a story than he could have imagined. Back at it with another ARG in book form, Uketsu gives us a riveting story about strange houses, dead bodies, and asks how much we can really trust those that come into our lives.
