Yesterday, instead of the traditional holiday feast, we drove 1.5 hours north to Banning State Park where 6-8" of snow had been reported in the storm 2 days ago. Our first snow adventure of the season. (Hopefully not the last!)

There’s a group of 5 Corbetts just north of Tyndrum, Moray and I did most of them earlier in the year but missed out Beinn Odhar as it was just too hot. So we went back yesterday to do it, straight up and down from the A82.

Ugh. Re-reading this, and finding that my words were all over the place! I'm going to blame Bsky's limited word count for forcing shortcuts. Hopefully you all got the general gist of what I was trying to say. 😅
Finally back to #TrailRunning/#CaniX with the #Huskies! We all really enjoy it, but all the running injuries I've had were off paved paths. The last was a bad ankle roll last spring that kept me from running until the heat & fire smoke of summer kept all of us from wanting to exercise outdoors...

So jealous! Still waiting on our first snow here...
First ski day officially on the books! High risk-high reward: a lot of driving when coupled with yesterday’s hime, but this was my first time on skis before Thanksgiving EVER. It was a rocky one but we had a blast!

That’s a wrap on the Glastenbury Residency. On our last lap today, we ended up turning around at the top of Maple Hill, mile 2.0. The decision was a mix of tough conditions and Wylie being somewhat under the weather. Last week was our last summit, we just didnt know it yet.

We sometimes let our dogs choose the direction at trail intersections when we don't have a specific route in mind. Zeena in particular seems to perk up when we say "Zeena, which way?" and she gets to choose.
