So probable cause is now just...going to an East African restaurant
Armed ICE agents trapped US citizens in a restaurant and demanded their papers. Federal agents walked into East African restaurants in Cedar-Riverside, MN. They closed and blocked the doors. Then they demanded to see everyone’s papers. Every person present was a US citizen.

On the 10th Anniversary of the Paris Agreement, you’re going to hear a lot about the progress we’ve made — people saying we “are” heading to 2.5 degrees heating instead of four.

I deeply regret to tell you that this is complacent misinformation.

BREAKING: Democrats have *flipped* a seat in Georgia's state House tonight.

Democrat Eric Gisler has won the seat, which was previously held by a Republican who resigned this fall.

This is a red territory: Trump won the district by 13% in 2024.

So someone replied in this thread that ERVs(energy recovery ventilators) are the answer, not CR boxes.

For new construction or major gut rehab, absolutely: multiple benefits.

But many schools lack infrastructure to use ERVs, and in cases where that is too expensive to install, CR boxes work.
To which I reply:
Option 1: air filtration with HEPA or high MERV filters (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corsi%E...)

Option 2: somewhat more expensive, air exchanges via energy recovery ventilators (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermal...)

It can be done, it should be done. The solutions are cost effective

Find out who controls the budget in question (school district, city council, county board of supervisors, etc). Make a letter writing campaign targeting those people to fix this. If educators are unionized, talk to the union about making it a demand in negotiations - this puts them at risk too.
