I still can't believe how bad the democrats caved. Not only did they get literally nothing, after putting federal workers, & the country in general, through 40+ days of shutdown, they also voted to get rid of THC drinks.
There is a chance to fix this in January, and probably another chance after that. Call your senators & reps. This is so dumb though.

Quickly weeding out moderates and corporate Democrats that think they can avoid blanket prosecutions and a wholesale teardown of Trump's fascist regime has to happen.

Candidates should frankly be asked who they have in mind for attorney general during the primary.
The 2028 Democratic Party primary is going to be absolutely fascinating. Voters are going to be repeatedly asking candidates whether their administration would criminally prosecute Trump's goons to the point that it will need to be an entire campaign platform for anyone who wants the office.

Astronauts are basically the only kind of troops who everyone across the political spectrum treats like celebrities. Anyone who lives in space for a year has, objectively speaking, done something cooler than we will ever do.
I have no clue what is beyond the pale in terms of public opinion anymore, but I'm pretty sure that trying to call a former astronaut a traitor is a bad look in the eyes of most people.
