Pro-civilian, curious, multi-versed, and prose-bound too. A teacher of languages and psychology navigating this chaosmos. Writing on control, collapse, and what gets erased when we call it “progress.” Humane, not a bot.
Accelerationism is becoming today’s neoliberalism: a scam — a tech-driven, already-failed trickle-down ideology that celebrates elite-owned systems, sidelines democratic agency, and treats “progress” as inevitable while ignoring who controls it and who pays the ecological and social costs.

Nothing brings Europeans together quite like Musk’s anti-EU propaganda. Incredible how one man can unite an entire continent… purely out of mutual irritation. Truly visionary stuff.

Musk never stood for free speech. X is more censorious than old Twitter or even the EU. It looks like a billionaire throwing a tantrum because he doesn’t want rules, while using a platform to tear at the social fabric for profit.

EU says it will ‘make sure’ Elon Musk’s X pays €120M fine
Commission also says it will remain on X for now to “get in touch” with citizens.

In Serra da Capivara, Brazil, there’s the only known ancient depiction of affection — a kiss at least 12,000 years old, maybe older. Love has always been here.

Turns out Brazilians have been hot-blooded since forever.

We don't need Neuralink. There are less invasive treatments.

Several other research lines—some decades old—are producing progress that could match or even surpass what invasive BCIs aim to do, depending on the condition.

Neuralink gets disproportionate attention because of its branding.

The EU fined Musk €140M — it should be higher. He’s no free-speech beacon. He bought X as a weapon of algorithm manipulation, fake news, and propaganda for his profit at society’s expense.X censored more in a year than Twitter ever did, more than the EU,and sold users’ data to government surveillance.

The Berggruen Institute sits in the same philanthro-capitalist sphere as outfits backed by figures like Zuckerberg or Gates:tax-favored think tanks that promote elite-driven governance narratives aligned with wealthy actors rather than democratic publics, wrapping their agendas in attractive language
Elite Capture
“Noema’s approach amounts to elite capture: the same policymakers, academics, and consultants invite one another, preserving a closed ecosystem that pretends to be inclusive while keeping authority concentrated in the same hands.
“History has repeatedly demonstrated that societies with inclusive political & economic institutions thrive & sustain themselves, while extractive societies, where wealth & power are concentrated at the top, ultimately fragment & fail.”

The wave of public sympathy for Mangione suggests something larger: many people, not only in the U.S. but globally, feel so squeezed by extractive economic structures that they’ve begun to see violent resistance as the only remaining lever against what they perceive as an entrenched plutocratic order.

AI isn’t “rewiring childhood” — it’s accelerating attention and critica thinking loss, creative atrophy, and psychological damage, while companies and their media mouthpieces like The Economist still market it as a gift instead of owning the damage already happening.

When someone close passes, we feel the weight of loss—but also the pulse of life. Fragile, fleeting, precious. Every breath carries both death and life. Vivo (Alive) by Lenine captures this tension in a mournful, celebratory way, with Amado Freitas’ magical piano.

This is the facility where former president Bolsonaro is serving his sentence for leading a coup attempt. While Lula’s imprisonment drew large, sustained demonstrations, Bolsonaro gets nothing — no crowds, no vigils. The contrast speaks volumes about the real strength of his “movement.”
