Yeah you should only constantly shift your position to align with the fleeting whims of a crazy old man with obvious brain damage
Not to give Johnson any credit whatsoever here but I think he does grasp something that has eluded Democratic consultants for decades, which is that trying to constantly please voters by shifting your position based on the latest polls or election results is read as being weak-willed and ineffective

McDonald’s has a deal where you get a free Big Mac the day after a Bills game where there’s a sack on the opposing QB, and I have to believe they made that call before tariffs made beef prices prices soar. Reminds me of the Simpsons bit where Russia boycotted the Olympics.
