Sometimes I quote The Simpsons & don't even know it. My entire lexicon is formed from like 3 TV shows I watched between 1996 & 2001. Occasionally I have to un-Ship of Theseus myself by watching all of MST3K back to back, just because I said "cooked" in a conversation by accident.

One good sign for shame making a comeback is that people seem content to use AI to secretly do stuff for themselves but get horrified when others brag about using it.
It's truly wild to me that this just keeps happening. Coca-Cola runs an AI ad and people overwhelmingly react with disgust. They do it again, and people are disgusted again. Now McDonald's makes an AI ad that's so bad that so many people are furious about it they pull it down.
