The Elephant Fruit from Super Mario Bros. Wonder, a red apple-like fruit with the ears and bulbous trunk of an elephant, as well as small beady eyes like many Mario power-ups. I think more people should make fursonas and I'm dead serious. the process of self-exploration that naturally comes along with creating a funny little critter to represent yourself is SO valuable, as you consider the types of animals you vibe with and what kind of aesthetic/colours/personality/etc suit you and stuff like that (fun fact this process is how I figured out I was transgender lol. not saying that will happen to you but just proving that you can learn a LOT about yourself through this design process and any subsequent design changes)

and then when you're all done, you have a little freak you can do whatever you want with! edit them poorly into memes, commission lavish oil paintings of them to hang in your mansion, use them as a personal online mascot, design a fucked up evil twin for them to fight, soak them in milk and throw them at the wall, anything really. same stuff some people do with fandom characters they really like, except it's 100% yours and nobody can tell you you're doing it wrong! also now you have an animal your friends can associate with you and they'll send you funny pics/videos of that animal that make them think of you. literally it's just wins all the way down for you and everybody you associate with. everyone should have one of these things!!

I'm begging any artists still using Twitter claiming it's integral to their work to just leave. It's been revealed the site works off a made up "credit score" from hell and punishes you for posting like a normal human being.

Abandon Twitter for good. It's time. It's been time.

A quoted tweet from a user named Sam that reads: "How Twitter is rigged
Type in all caps because you're excited? Lowers your reputation. Include links? Your score goes down. It's like the Credit Score system from Hell.
And given Cisgender is treated as a slur & MAGA boosted, you can guess what's categorized as 'offensive'"

The tweet they quoted is from user SADIQ and reads:
"Tweepcred is X's reputation system
Based on your behavior, you get a tweepcred score
It determines your reach
Break the algo rules, you score goes down and your reach disappears
What are the rules of the X algo tho? Glad you asked."

SADIQ includes a photo of Twitter's algorithm code that calculates a user's reputation.

SADIQ continues:
"Post 'offensive text'? 80% reach reduction
Offensive username? 80% reach reduction
All caps tweet? That's seen as 'shouting. Major penalization.
Include links? Yup, penalized"
