Can confirm, I did say this, over on Threads. I stand by it here as well. And everywhere else!
“Re ‘There are a lot of people on your side who will be in the Epstein Files too!’: No there aren't, my side is the ‘People Who Don't Fuck Children’ side, anyone not on this side can get all the way into the bin, what side are YOU on, exactly?” — John Scalzi

My friend Kara, the one currently incarcerated at Carswell, has had her hormones cut yet again.

They haven't done labs or anything on her in weeks.

They've now reduced her to 3 mg a week for her HRT.

We are still desperately searching for legal counsel who will advocate for her. Please help.

Iggy was an invaluable tester and contributed so much to the project. He was absolutely brilliant in the game and came up with so many original strategies we had never considered.

Please help us spread the word and as we help find him a living kidney donor. 💙
A plea for help. 🙏
One of the lead playtesters of Blue Prince, Iggy, has polycystic kidney disease and has only a few months to find a living kidney donor.

His story, contact and donor information can all be found on
iggyland.org

Please help us in sharing his story and getting the word out.💙

If you attended No Kings and feel the rush and felt community, I have a very, very, very low-stakes, simple way to do more:

Go canvas your neighbors and see if they have planned what they’ll do if ICE shows up. If you talk to a few and they don’t have a plan, make a plan together.

it's kinda weird that all the software i am expected to use for work are all written by distributed teams, go, python, postgres, linux, chrome, k8s etc

and despite being told "the best teams work in an office together" i don't know of any software i use that's actually written that way

I really need to patch the giant hole in my living room/kitchen ceiling and insulate it. But on the bright side, the cheap oil filled radiator I got a couple years ago can keep the bedroom toasty with the door closed. 54 F in the kitchen, 70 one wall away.

Why should you care? Strategically, it's very important that CISOs and CTOs understand that the AI revolution means business as usual regarding security. It may make us faster when we improve our automation with AI, but it doesn't make us more secure.
The finding by Omer Mayraz regarding GitHub Copilot data exfiltration demonstrates why the AI revolution have shifted the balance of power from the cyber defender to the attacker. These systems have a stochastic nature, making attacking, easier than defending. www.securityweek.com/github-copil...
GitHub Copilot Chat Flaw Leaked Data From Private Repositories
A vulnerability in the GitHub Copilot Chat AI assistant led to sensitive data leakage and full control over Copilot’s responses.

Now I'm just wondering whether baptisms stack. If not, does the latest overwrite all existing? Or is it primacy? Has anyone ever tried to 100% baptism?
I will note that I was baptised as a Lutheran, which is slightly heretical for someone with the last name of Scalzi. As I understand it that was purely because it was the church closest to where my parents lived at the time, which is really not a good reason to be baptised into any religion.

The Trumpist majority on SCOTUS, like Trump himself, is spending down a trust fund they did not create, apparently believing it refills automatically. But it doesn’t. The whole system depends on other key institutions treating their rulings as legitimate.
It seems like federal district courts are in full revolt against SCOTUS. I've never seen such direct scathing criticism of SCOTUS like this from the bench over their shadow docket rulings quietly overturning precedent without explanation.

From the Harvard decision today.

I am a *lawyer who practices federal law.* Several times a week I see a headline that makes me think "there's no way the President can do that, right?" and I look into it and it turns out that maybe he can because Congress ceded some of its power in the What's the Worst That Could Happen Act of 1983
