Waaait. Is there really a common AV position that vaccines operate independently of the immune system on a somehow ongoing basis? Always assumed the worry was just over the brief exposure to something deemed *waves hands* ‘a bit chemical’. Would love to see some polling on what ppl actually believe.
💉 One thing I rarely see explained is how vaccination *is* "natural immunity".
The immunity is developed by your body not the vaccine. The vaccine itself doesn’t do the work.

Yeah high beaming on lit paths is absolute fuckery. See also strobing. Really needs to be a bit of public education on this.
I just had a great example of why super-bright bike lights are so dangerous on cycle paths: adult cycling towards me, and all I could see was the three-metre white orb of blinding light, and I almost hit the child cycling in front of them that I couldn't see at all

Love this - it reminds me of reading about a director - and alas I forget who it was - who fastidiously scripted background actors’ conversations which would never actually be heard.
