Some theaters showing "Melania" were so empty that wags suggested that undocumented immigrants should hide out there. Reviews are brutal: The Independent said the first lady came across as "a preening, scowling void of pure nothingness in this ghastly bit of propaganda." The Guardian dismissed the movie as "gilded trash," and Variety asked, "Why would Amazon spend $75 million on a movie this boring?" (I think we all know the answer to that.)

I knew #RiffTrax was doing new #MST3K episodes. (Yes, I'm backing it.) I did NOT know Joel sold his MST3K rights! I'm glad Mike's team gets another round with the puppets, but I hope Jonah, Baron, and Hampton get an opportunity to return someday. Their Gen X humor was *Italian chef finger kiss*.

Shout out to this Reddit user for figuring it out ~16 hours before the big reveal!
For the past week, Bill Corbett's been teasing big news to be announced by Rifftrax on February 2nd, and today said "Pretty sure it will make a lot of you happy". Now, if could just be the next announcement of this year's Kickstarter and live shows including a much-requested movie, but... Joel sold MST3K entirely last month and no longer controls the property (including hiring who works on it). Could it be possibly that Rifftrax reached a deal with Shout to produce some new episodes of MST3K starring Mike, Bill & Kevin?
