Wasn't onboard with duffy beer's endeavor until I watched this & realized that mini-tramps & rope swings would be made available.🤙

Unlike doing kata in an airport terminal, my poor rendition of this wouldn't wind up with me getting cuffed & stuffed. 😄

Stephen Miller’s ancestors were Jewish refugees from the pogroms in czarist Russia. They came to the U.S. in the early twentieth century, even as racists said this same stuff about them.
Stephen Miller is now arguing that assimilation is fundamentally impossible and that certain cultures are not compatible with Western civilization

The DC shooting story is really getting to me because we literally trained this man as a child soldier for a death squad in a forever war and Stephen Miller et al want to blame it on other cultures? It's our culture, American culture, that killed that woman.

Excellent & extensive thread on the gop's nearly immediate betrayal of Lincoln's legacy.
#ResistanceRoots

Some people on the right like to tout the GOP’s history as the “Party of Lincoln,” and note that prominent African Americans were Repubs after the Civil War. Democrats, including me, counter that the two parties switched sides when Democrats embraced the Civil Rights Movement. /1

he spun satirical folk tales that spoke volumes about the human condition.
The outpouring of mourning for the great and hilarious "alt-country" genius Todd Snider seemed an excellent reason to devote this month's Big Lookback to a Barnes & Noble Review appreciation I wrote about Snider more than a decade ago. robertchristgau.substack.com/p/the-big-lo...
