If some fucking trump geek is going to spout off something about him brokering peace, don't ask them how many or to name them. Ask them if that's why they voted for him. You'll be waaaaaay more entertained that way.

One of those murdered by the zealot father + son in Sydney, was a Ukrainian born man, Alex Kleytman.

He died a hero, protecting his wife Larissa. They emigrated 50 years ago to escape the USSR.

Okay, this might be an age thing, but I'm interested to see who doesn't know how to pronounce this word: niacin

I learned from a fucking commercial, and I think I learned details about what it is and why it's important it in school(TX school, even).

To me, the real challenge is determining which one is the better Nicholas Cage movie:
Con Air or The Rock?
December 14, 2025 at 1:59 AM
At this point it's Pig, and I'm not sure that gets supplanted. I love the fuck out of that movie.
Otherwise, it's Mandy, because the rampage of revenge film doesn't get better.
Both are standout pieces of acting. Did I vote for two movies? Maybe.
Name your fav Nicolas Cage film

It's easy to conjure the following path:

Real person submits real question to LLM
➙ LLM hallucinates a reference
➙ Real person searches for the reference
➙ LLM captures the request, measuring it as demand³
➙ LLM synthesizes a book-length text¹
➙ Synthesized text makes its way into circulation²
As an author, I’ve already gotten multiple emails from people asking me for fake articles and books that I’ve supposedly written, because chatbots have told them fake references. I *cannot imagine* the frustration and time waste for librarians and especially ILL library professionals right now.

I wish that every single instructor who claims learners have to use the addictive bullshit machines before they can critique the addictive bullshit machines understood how much closer this misunderstanding of "scaffolding" brings us to another PizzaGate scenario, but located in a library or archive.

Grading this semester has been AI hell. I've had to write "this doesn't exist" so many times that now I have a standard response that I can copy and paste. I've given more Fs for cheating this semester than in all of the previous classes combined.

This is right and good.
If you do a google search for “Vim” it asks if you meant “Emacs,” and vice versa. This is pure chaos agent stuff.
