well. time to get up, pull on thermal layer, get dressed, and get out there. Remember, if they get me, politicize the hell out of it. then get back out there.

ICE claims he drew a weapon. It appears to me his weapon was confiscated before the shot was fired. The man in the tan jacket. Look at his right hand. Empty. He goes in at the victim’s lower back. You can see the victim’s shirt lift. Jacket man walks away with weapon. Shot fired. Man dies.

Murder.

Federal agents are throwing tear gas canisters at protesters following the shooting of a legal observer. They tackle a man to the ground. You can hear me coughing from the tear gas. A local restaurant took me in until I could recuperate.

They’re going to mass arrest them and put the homeless into camps to work for free labor

Capitalism requires a permanent underclass. There arent enough prisons to supplement the cheap labor we are losing by isolating our allies & deporting immigrants

This exploitation & violence will be homegrown
Under Trump, the draconian future of homelessness policy is coming into focus: mass internment. Utah is building a 16-acre site to detain up to 1,300 homeless people inside locked "accountability centers." This is profoundly alarming.

The clips and conversations I’m hearing about the SNAP (food stamp) cuts should be above the fold everywhere. It’s a scary time for a lot of people.
Families are already hanging by a thread, but the sad truth is it’s about to get a lot worse when SNAP benefits don’t go out in November.

It’s time to find our local food banks and help out with donations and volunteer hours if you are able.

Council Member Nantasha Williams is right: we need to address housing delays, but these ballot proposals won’t make new housing move faster—they’re about moving power further away from the people.
On @spectrumnewsny1.bsky.social’s Inside City Hall, Council Member Nantasha Williams spoke about the Jamaica Neighborhood Plan and why Mayor Adams’ Ballot Proposals 2, 3, and 4, which take community voices out of land use decisions, wouldn't speed up housing production.
