Hello new followers (nods at 𓅃). Here's a video to explain me - an 8 minute song of one riff with text to speech vocal arguing poetically the space industry is undercutting discourses of climate action. The video is made from a 1950s Frigidaire commercial and 60s NASA PR footage.

if we ban social media for kids but they are still allowed to talk to AI, that seems like it could be really really bad

Hey, so guess what I did? 🧵

Can I prove Deloitte used AI to write this report? No. But that would honestly be the less embarrassing option. The research in this report is below par for a 1st year undergrad, where they even bother to show research.

Let's unpack some of the mistakes I found.

Our fave fuschia ‘Falco’ we thought he’d died after he lost all his leaves in a storm. Looking glorious in flower 🌱

Quite nice to get up this morning and find our oldest fuchsia has managed to actually complete a full opening of one of its flowers. Hoping the rest of his flowers turn out so well. 🌱

If you're looking for a pocket-sized Xmas present for a music-lover, consider the cool entries in the 33 1/3 Oceania series on notable LPs from Australia & Aotearoa NZ.

There is currently a 30% off sale for these on the Bloomsbury website, until the end of today.

Amazing the change in less than a day. Yesterday all light green and I wasn’t sure what colour it’d end up with, 6am this morning noticed the colour turning, by 10am most definitely deep purple. Going to be so glorious when they fully open

‘It says almost nothing about how the arts, humanities and social sciences (AHSS) will contribute, despite the fact that the strategy’s objectives cannot be met without them.’
Opinion from Auckland University: The Govt’s boldest tertiary policy shift in years barely mentions the arts, humanities and social sciences. That’s a problem.

In todays episode of fuchsia watch I still can't fucking believe how many flowers we're getting from these plants which were all essentially sticks with no greenery six months ago. 🌱

We counted over 50 blossoms on him (we call him Jack). Really bounced back after those storms a couple of months ago

I have written this thread up into a blog post, it has more extensive links to sources & previous conversations about fake content & users on the internet. It's easier to share, if you want to make sure your friends don't get caught in that honeypot of a corporate blogpost aramzs.xyz/microblogs/d...
Don't trust the human slop telling you how much of the web is AI slop
Is a lot of the web algorithmically created content? Possibly! But don't share the argument that's trying to sell you on creating more fake content.
