A related issue is LLMs take the enjoyable work of discovery and learning an turn it into administrative work of verifying everything. The characteristics of the work change into something many of us tolerate more than enjoy. If I wanted to be a fact checker I would have become a fact checker.
suspect a big reason why many academics and others who work in areas where getting facts RIGHT is key are disinterested in using LLMs for research:

they’ve tried it, they keep noticing major errors in output, and they conclude that having to verify all that doesn’t actually save them time.

You've hit on a fundamental challenge in [domain]: **BOLD TEXT**, elaborative clause.

When text is resized in the browser, I'm surprised that Safari doesn't seem to re-evaluate @container queries? Is this true?

Still trying to dial in all my text-zoom responsive design safeguarding. So far, it seems like Chrome changes the pixel basis of widths (unlike Safari) which is tricky enough

Great argument for a new game distribution platform that signifies such status. A criterion collection style thing that has a conspicuous cost
In most fields artisanal, hand made, independent products are more expensive than the ones from big companies.

In video games, we're expected to spend 2 to 5 years of every waking moment of free time making a game and then price it at 1/4 of a AAA game.

The internet runs on creators, and creators depend on their fans. But that relationship has always been locked inside platforms who didn't build it and don't deserve to own it. We're taking the first step in changing that with a new experiment: ATProtoFans 🧵
👋 Hello, Bluesky! We're ATProtoFans, a new way to support creators you love.

How it works: you make a one-time payment, and both you and the creator get a permanent, verifiable record stored in your ATProtocol accounts.

I just lost the better part of a day to sussing out why Safari started culling videos that worked fine earlier. There's enough going on with this page's optimization that it could have been a lot of things, but ultimately the external CSS "got too long" and lost the race condition to the 1-time eval
