Scientists are feeling the squeeze. A lot of orgs focus on asking elites for our privileges back.

We’re different: we build people power from the ground up—an easy on-ramp for scientists to learn + take collective action.

Since February, according to my latest analysis, almost 600,000 Black women have been economically sidelined. The November 20, 2025, Jobs Report makes clear this isn’t a blip. It’s a structural crisis. That is not a recovery. It is a redistribution of opportunity.

Cancel your Spotify Premium subscription until Spotify stops running ICE ads. Spotify is running ads recruiting more ICE agents to infringe our rights and terrorize our communities

This week, I withdrew from a speaking engagement at a public university because they sent me a list of prohibited “words & concepts.” I will not humor this censorship. It does a disservice to the stories I’m discussing & the audience, who deserve unfettered access to information & conversation.

Today there was an attempted ICE raid in Bensonhurst & community members showed up. Even though NYPD collaborated with ICE by trying to disburse the crowd; community members stood their ground & ICE left without kidnapping a single person per the rapid response groups I'm on. We protect us!

This year I've been a part of Beth Picken's Parakeet-- an intense program for intense people who have a book trapped inside them.

Want a stern & loving Capricorn to help you get a book out? I highly recommend Beth.

Listening to some world-famous "climate leaders" and I’m absolutely exhausted by how we’ve strapped ourselves inside a careening plane made up of neoliberal climate solutions. Basically, they’d rather we die than divorce capitalism. The parallels w the Democratic party could not be more obvious.

Beginning Monday, a Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate drink will be available exclusively at Starbucks cafés inside Target stores.

The New York Times obit for Alice Wong doesn’t mention Covid or Gaza

It ignores two of her biggest causes because of political bias

Alice fought tirelessly for Covid mitigations

She fought for the people of Gaza

She rightfully reminded us that the genocide in Gaza is a disability justice issue
