I know things about things.
I love movies, video games and soup.
Harlan Ellison was pretty sure I stole his wallet.
Okay, so just catching up on today's news, a JOURNALIST sent a SPY equipped with ZERO TRAINING and a RECORDING DEVICE into the house of a FORMER PRESIDENT on behalf of her BOYFRIEND(?)/SUBJECT, and this SPY succeeded in their mission without getting caught by the FUCKING SECRET SERVICE?

When I arrived to pick up a pup today, the client was watching Gossip Girl, and I told them I was still mad that Dan was GG because it was stupid and ruined his whole character, and they told me it was because the fucking New York post correctly guessed the other character, so the show changed it.

Now streaming on Netflix, PANTHEON, a very weird and good story about what makes life worth living. It's only two seasons, but don't worry, they finished, there's not some awful cliffhanger. It's very good, you'll probably cry a bunch, I sure did.

[sitting at the conference table next to the time machine]:

So that’s two votes for baby Hitler and seventeen for “the baby act blue guy”, I’m stunned.

Yeah, how did Hitler get so many votes?

Brad Fucken Lander out here posting this nerd ass article about how fucken good he is at comptrolling while he’s also been on the front line daring ICE to kill him for months. Let me tell you how hard he would destroy Chuck Schumer in a senate primary challenge.
Our funds have achieved a 37% reduction in emissions, divested fossil fuels, scaled up climate solutions investments to $12B, and pressured banks & utilities — while achieving strong returns (10.5% in FY2025).

It’s a legacy I’m proud of.

NYC pension funds surpass climate emission reduction targets
New York City’s pension fund group has surpassed its climate emissions targets, even as the Trump administration rolls back environmental and climate rules.

It’s my 30th deadmomiversary in two weeks, which is also when I started doing holidays with friends instead of my shitty republican family. I think Friendsgiving is a stand alone complex, but however you got here, welcome. It’s the dasharezone meme, if holidays with family sucks, hit da bricks!

May science have mercy on my butts, it’s suddenly Le Tits Now season

I slept like three hours last night, so it’s going to be a long ass-day. At least I have pups to see.

Anyway, the minivan that cut me off to get ahead of me at the Wendy’s drive through was at the ordering speaker for 12 minutes. I had ordered ahead on the app, and it took me 21 seconds at the speaker. When we both pulled around, the four cars between them and the pickup window were all long gone.

It’s an extremely crowded field but it goes to See the Constellation, with Man It’s So Loud In Here a close second.

Last night I was too tired and depressed to sleep, so instead I started watching The Pitt, knowing that as An Extremely Serious Medical Show it would have to be very funny to balance out how depressing it is, and I watched the first 8 episodes instead of sleeping, gosh is it very good.

I was just at a sandwich place that had a 90s station playing, and one of the kids working there was rocking the fuck out to All I Want by The Offspring, so I blew his mind by telling him that Dexter Holland’s molecular biology PhD thesis was a large part of the basis for mRNA vaccines.

Feeling pretty tired and depressed today, just going through the motions. But I got a cute new hat I guess.

We cannot progress till we acknowledge the fact that this country has a serious political violence problem on both sides of the aisle, whether it's Republicans trying to kill Democrats or Republicans trying to kill Republicans

I think that if I was president, one day everyone would just stop getting stupid scam texts like this and nobody would know why until years later when a house oversight democrat did a really detailed audit and found that like 30 cruise missiles were missing.

Oh no, I just realized that by the end of the first three episodes of the new Stargate, someone is going to say something about the late General Hammond, and it’s going to make me CRY

They literally just announced their cost cutting plan to make all their bread taste like shit LAST WEEK. Fucking private equity dipshits.
Once the top U.S. fast-casual chain, Panera has dipped to number three, falling behind Chipotle and Panda Express.

Now, to try to win back consumers, the chain plans to reinvest in the business and undo many previously implemented cost-cutting measures, it said Tuesday.

In SG1 5.13-Proving Ground (2001) Grace Park plays Lt. Satterfield but while two other characters from that episode later returned, Lt. Satterfield was never seen again. I would love to see General Satterfield running the new show’s SGC and being the voice of home like Don Davis was for SG1

Aww dip, in this video Martin Gero mentions he’s been keeping this secret for 18 months, so they’re BIGTIME into production at this point. And look how excited Brad Wright and Joe Mallozzi are, it’s adorable. Love these guys. Can’t wait to see what they’re cooking.

Aww dip, Martin Gero did a lot of work on Stargate Atlantis, and most importantly wrote the SG1 episode 200, which is maybe the best clips episode of a television ever done (all the clips are original shots for this episode and mostly jokes about stuff we never saw). This is real good news friends.
‘Stargate’ Reopens With New Series at Prime Video
Martin Gero, a writer and producer on previous entries in the franchise, will be the showrunner.
