The main things I remember from DS9, which I definitely liked almost as much as Babylon 5, are the tribbles episode, and the one with Worf in a pow camp, where he just keeps knocking dudes out.

Man, TNG was like, what if we had a group of aliens about how much capitalism fucking sucks, and then DS9, yes that, but with even LESS subtlety.
