Content creators: Is it common practice to spoil the results of a sporting event in the thumbnail of a YouTube video?

Signed, a grumpy old man who just had the results of the most recent Basho spoiled by a YouTube thumbnail.

I do some of my clearest thinking late at night, when most people in this time zone are asleep. Unfortunately, this is also the time where I get too tired to think well. The tension is exquisite.

I'm hugely biased, but still -- WEARING THE LION is not something I'd normally read, and it was fantastic. PHANTOM VIEW is stark and beautiful, and it covered such a broad range.

John's book SOMEONE YOU CAN BUILD A NEST IN won the Nebula and the Locus -- and he's getting _even better_.
I published some pieces I'm deeply proud of this year. My second novel, one of my most personal novelettes, one of my weirdest short stories, and an essay on an idea that's been nagging me for years.

we don't donate to the bigot bucket.

please don't harass the people sitting by it, but if they ask you for a donation telling them why *politely* is fine. if they decide to be an asshole after that, i wouldn't blame anyone for returning that favor.
I know it's a tad early but I know those bitches with the buckets will be out soon. Don't gove them a penny. The volunteers may not know but the salvation army is no ally and actively combative and harmful to many queer minorities especially during the holiday season

As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

Today, I kept my mouth shut instead of saying something dumb*.

(* dumb = "something I have strong opinions about, but that would be unhelpful in a practical, professional sense.")

I would like a mini Reese's cup and some head scritches, please.

Last night, in need of some mindless entertainment, I picked up the video game Megabonk. My first run piqued my curiosity. By my third run, I was hooked. When I put the controller down for the night, it was past midnight.

I regret nothing. Megabonk is great.

I subscribed to Aftermath this year, and it has been consistently excellent. The quality of the writing and the range of subject matter are both well worth your support.
As you may have seen, we've launched a brand new website today! And while we're excited about some of the big stuff involved--like a sale and new payment methods--here are some other neat features we hope readers and newcomers will appreciate.

Are there any reviews of PLUR1BUS by BIPOC critics? Please drop me some links, especially if it's by a critic you follow.
PLUR1BUS is an enthralling show, and also a horrible title for anyone who says things out loud ever.
