A favourite Powerful Owl pic from early owl detecting days. @doktrnick.bsky.social and I were looking at a map thinking an area 'might have owls.' 15 minutes later while looking at scat wondering if it might be POwl scat I was reminded to look up. I think his expression says it all #birds #wildoz

By day, I work in Engineering. In 2017 I picked up a camera and started learning about birds and bugs and all sorts of animals. There are plenty I used to be afraid of that I now think are amazing. Biology is a gd miracle. So, if you're afraid, go observe. It could completely change your world.
