without bad licensed games by medium sized studios the game dev ecosystem is waaaay harder sadge
you hate Fortnite cause it's evil and full of micro transactions and a bunch of other good reasons
I hate Fortnite because every company realized "Fortnite crossover" is more profitable then making their own bad licensed games, which I love

Had a dream a while back in which I discovered the existence of the "Grave of the Fireflies/Super Mario World 2-in-1" for the Wii. It basically functioned as a DVD except for a "special features" section that literally only had an SNES emulator playing Mario World. It went for absurd prices on eBay

i often worry that ive spent 5 years learning nothing because i see so many people so much smarter and more capable than me. but then i remember like half my class used chatgpt and cheated for everything and learned actually nothing so maybe im not so bad
