Sorry I'm taking so long on my next video. Real life has been getting in the way.

Hope to have a video out in December (not Christmas themed)

So Google decided to enable "Smart Features" by default (tbr as AI training purposes), here's how you can disable Google from reading your personal stuff, mind you the bastards tied the spellcheck to this features so you won't be able to use it without the Smart Features. Here's how to turn off.

The artwork of Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom by Brom used on the cover of the Japanese #SegaSaturn Dungeons & Dragons Collection release and arcade flyers. Unfortunately sources weren't very good. Removed logos/text, applying the usual upscale/clean/retouch.

Link: almagaming.wolfpack.xyz/gameblogP12....

I found the 1st game to be just kinda ok but now we are at game too! Surely they learned from their past mistakes and tightened up the game for a better experience?

Give it a read to find out!

I love Chinese & Taiwanese Wuxia RPGs, not only for the cool martial arts setting but also for playing differently from Western & Japanese RPGs.

I often get asked for recommendations. I had a big thread on Twitter, so here's a new one!

Here's my favorites available in English (officially or not) 🧵

Half Life (1998) is now as old as the first ever arcade game, Computer Space (1971) was when Half Life was released.

9 years ago i saw these prices at a con and I was scandalized.

Now, I'm thinking it's pretty decent price.

Was thinking of doing a video on RTS games made in Japan.

But the more I look, the more difficult it is to tell the difference between an RTS, a Strategy RPG, a city builder and a Grand Strategy game.

I know it shouldn't be difficult, but boy do a lot of then mix & match genres

Do you know any RTS games made in Japan? I only know like... 5

I've gone back to Wplace, found a big graffiti that someone started and gave up on.

Decided to claim the spot. I'll be VERY surprised if anyone can guess the character I'm drawing now:

YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT! I HAVE WRITTEN A NEW ARTICLE!

this one's a bit weird; rather than doing my usual "trying to organize my thoughts and building a winding case that builds on itself," I decided to show you what my EARLY article creation process looks like:

docseuss.medium.com/some-loosely...
some loosely organized thoughts about dialogue sysin games
think of this as me trying to find out what parts of dialogue choices are load bearing game design and what else can be done with dialogue.
