Once I program the basics in terms of movement, one thing I want to add is that tile types actually mean something and not just decoration. Like for example: Sand hindering movement, Forest giving an Evasion boost, or Hills giving Range boosts.
Decided to try to make a prototype for game that can run on browsers using html, I promise nothing, but here's an idea of what kind of thing I have in mind. It will be a steep learning curve, and an uphill battle against my bad habit of not documenting code. I hope I can make this work, lol.

Fuck it, the magical equivalent of a personal computer should be a magic book, not a crystal ball. The former feels more personal, and the later it's more linked to clarivoyance, so closer to a surveilance terminal.

I've been working a bit on the dungeon tiles for my .hack// fangame. Instead of the Gott or Zeit statue at the end of a dungeon, you'll find the "Seele Statue." As always, a rare peace of loot is your reward, and if you don't want to walk back, there is a small warp-point! ✨
