It is unethical and illegal to repeat animal tests for the safety of chemicals where the data exists or the tests add no new knowledge.
So why are we treating children worse than lab rats, when GAC is known to be safe and effective? That’s unethical.

What’s happening over that tree? Two very different things. On the left is the Andromeda galaxy, an object that is older than humanity and will last billions of years into the future.

Fuck on a google search for the report, the SM website is the first link and forms the AI summary.
Sigh.
Funny that.

When the Cass report came out and there was an opportunity to destroy an entire area of trans healthcare it was wall-to-wall headlines and opinion pieces.

Now the Levy review says "current system just needs improved and lower waiting lists"... silence. Crickets.

Open editorial bias.

They released it on the day that parliament finishes for the year, after delaying it multiple times.

The reason they're so focused on trans teens is that people who transition younger typically blend into society better. To the extent that they're willing to tolerate our existence in society at all, they'd rather we be easily identified by our appearance/voices/etc.
Cis people really have no idea how it feels to watch a regime hold a press conference to admit, on camera, the pogrom against trans people they've been waging for 11 months is not only real, but they're going to double down on genocide and try to wipe out all the children first.

Cycling UK have recently stated that their annual 100 Women in Cycling award won’t include any trans women or non-binary

Over 50 current nominees and previous winners have rejected or returned their awards. I know many of them personally

I’m proud of my cycling sisters. All of them

@robinince.bsky.social such a brave thing you have done. Thank you so much for standing up for what is right. It’s so sad that it comes at such a personal cost.

First, she frames the issue as a conflict between transgender rights and women's rights. Where is the evidence for that broad framing of conflict? Where is the evidence that women as a group see there as being a clash? None is given and women remain supportive of trans rights.

I was concerned that Dr Mary-Ann Stephenson might try and be smarter about transphobia than her predecessors and leave trans people in a shit place than was harder to rectify because it wasn’t so obvious.

Today dispelled those worries.

Labour have appointed a second raving bigot to run the EHRC.

Why?

We know why.

Because it suits both our media and our political leaders to pretend that this reactionary hate movement are victims - whilst they weild the power of billionaires and our full media establishment to silence those who dare to stand against them.

Let people be their true selves, as they know and understand them. Let children explore their identities. Celebrate difference and variety and the incredible spectrum of humanity. The only alternative denies an opportunity to celebrate the joy of human flourishing and is ultimately unspeakably cruel

And behold, as someone has now updated further TO INCLUDE the 'biological' slur.
BBC, you are consistently awful
Not sure what is going on here, but the BBC just called Dr Upton a "trans woman" not that biological slur, grab a screenshot before the TERFs demand it is edited back!
