I wonder if maybe they did something to fuss with his apparent height in the picture. Comparing to this shot, where he is quite close to the Declaration of Independence...just doesn't look quite right to me.

If he wanted the synagogue-goer to know he was being an asshole, or was trying to turn people against them with it, then I think you've gotten into bullying territory.

If he somehow thought that this was just...staying among 'friends', then probably just being an asshole.

I think, to me, it would depend on whether or not he thought it would--directly (by their seeing the post) or indirectly (someone else alerting them to it) get back to that person or not, OR if he were using their bitching to turn neighborhood sentiment against them.

Passive-aggressive quote-posting someone you 'respect' as a means of shaming them for challenging you is a bit of an asshole move.

Coulda just...kept that inside, or maybe talked directly about it, but hey, do you bud.

There was a whole other instructor that weighed in on the grading of the assignment and concurred with the grade given, and I've heard jack shit about her being reassigned/suspended/disciplined. Which should be a dead fucking giveaway as to what the hell is going on here.
