The idea of a British lad going to the US and being wowed by the food IS funny, just not in the way they think.
'British food is bad' has been untrue for like a generation and a half at this point but really sticks around in the U.S. U.S. supermarkets are inferior to their U.K. counterparts!

The thing is *Keir Starmer does not believe this*. He manifestly does not actually think that the only reason not to strip someone’s citizenship for bad speech is that you haven’t judged that it rises to the level of national security threat! It is both bonkers and pathetic that this is the message

Not everyone who is given something from the state is Oliver Twist, nor should they be.
The state should provide help to all sorts of people in different circs, not just gruel for the needy
