I had a similar worry when I encountered a stray girlie in July. No microchip, and after flyering the area and putting posts on facebook nobody came forward after a month. It's best to take these measures just to be sure first, then consider adopting them. She's still with me now.
"the cat distribution system" is a fun and cute concept but I do kind of worry that some people are going to inadvertently run off with someone else's cat that just happens to be very friendly lol.

I know this might be not the most popular take on here but I think audio to text transcription is one of those applications of machine learning where I think it is 100% ethical to always use it, as long as as you don't rely on it without human intervention on stuff like medical records
Voxtral (from @MistralAI) transcription quality is quite incredible, the way it handles the punctation and all the rest, makes transcribed audio messages so much more understandable. I implemented a few fixes in the FFT and now there is no longer a skipped tokens issue in voxtral.c

to anyone playing nioh 3 and wondering if demo save data will work with achievement tracking and autopop: yes, it does. Trackers are accurate, too.
