Yeah. Look, posting is fine and all, but actually going to a meeting and engaging with local elected face to face and taking part in the process produces like a kajillion times more results than posting on average.
Precisely this: but what gets me is that this is basically politics as consumption - rather than organize IRL, people seem to doomscroll themselves into learned helplessness when this regime is far from stable and has yet to consolidate itself.
Yeah I think a thing about this moment is that as politically engaged partisans we want someone to mirror our emotions back to us, which is very valid, but also totally distinct from all the other leadership roles which have different tasks and speak to different audiences
