"Why would we turn the US military against American cities when we have police officers and law enforcement officials whose job it is? I understand that crime is a major issue, but it's not the military's job to be able to do that. We have law enforcement whose job it is to counteract crime."

Republicans always railed against single-payer healthcare because of “death panels” that would decide who will get care.

It turns out they were really only against *other people* running death panels. Now they they are in charge of them, like deciding who gets kicked off of Medicaid, it’s okay.

Zohran Mamdani beat Andrew Cuomo. Trump’s “Big Beautiful” budget bill took a serious blow. Democrats held onto key seats. And the Kennedy Center turned into a venue for queer resistance. If you’re wondering whether there’s still fire on the left, this week answered with a resounding Yes!

It is 100% carrying water for the opposition to participate in this collective delusion that Dems for some reason need to answer for every teen who throws a rock rather than hold the Trump admin accountable for intentionally creating chaos and breaking the law to stoke violence.

They are in charge.

Republicans. Fucking. Lie.
Senator Ted Cruz posted a dramatic video of LAPD cars on fire with the caption “this… is… not… peaceful.” What he didn’t mention? The footage was from 2020, not 2025. His post on X falsely implied it was current, part of a broader effort to spread lies and manufacture a crisis.

Donald Trump has become convinced that Republicans cannot win the midterms, and that a blue wave would effectively end his presidency and confront him with two years of investigations and impeachment proceedings. He needs martial law as an excuse to cancel the midterms. So America is on a clock now.

This is what happens when you put the deregulation party in full control of the government. Companies know that they can fuck We The People over by any & all means necessary to make a buck at our expense & there will be no government response to make them do otherwise.
This is “healthcare” in the United States. A pharmacy benefit manager randomly decided they just weren’t going to cover this man’s inhaler anymore, so he couldn’t afford it. He died of an asthma attack. Devastating.
