I still can't believe they're trying to make a war happen out of thin air. Not just their abrogation of Congress's role in formally declaring a war -- that's been a slippery slope for decades -- but their total unwillingness even to go through the motions of drumming up public support.

Rob Reiner was a good guy. He made a lot of movies about good guys, in worlds where not everyone was good and you didn’t have to be good. He made movies about people trying. He was angry, as many hopeful people are. He knew the world could be better and he wanted it to be. His death is devastating.

Once at the hospital, the doctor had to call in a poison control specialist.

Seeing DECONSTRUCTING HARRY in January 1998, immediately after the C-L scandal broke. Allen in an early scene criticizing himself for his behavior with women: “Does the US President want to fuck every woman he meets? Bad example.” The room EXPLODED. The second sentence was barely audible.

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
