Hearing this morning that the great drummer, pianist, composer and bandleader Jack DeJohnette has left us at the age of 83. A member of Miles' 'Lost Quintet' from 1968-1971, he also played on the albums 𝘽𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙬 and 𝙊𝙣 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙧. He will be greatly missed.
