I have always been fortunate to get lovely gifts from my family, and this year I got a dusty green teddy footstool, a steam cleaner, and a giftcard towards a new monitor.
The fact that I'm the most excited about the steam cleaner is telling. I am indeed 37. This feels like adulthood kicked in 😌❤️

A cozy workspace makes debugging fucking CSS for 4 hours just.. a tiny bit more okay.

Long-covid symptoms have subsided immensely, and this began in May. I had the RSV vaccine Monday and now that we know I can die from cold sore outbreaks, I took medicine to prevent an outbreak - they appear when my immune system is pressed like getting a vaccine. Day 3 and no outbreak!! 🎺🎉
Flu symptoms that turned into a rare cold sore infection with a 40C fever, which turned into a cancer scare that turned into strep throat and anaemia and extremely high blood pressure. All in 16 days. 🫠

When I wad 18 - depressed and with an undiagnosed bipolar disorder - I fell into a crowd of grown adults, who took me under their wings and let me grow up in their safety. And there's not a lot of that in the music industry. This was a unique experience, I'm aware of that.

My dad calls me at 11pm just to say that he miss dancing with me when I was a kid, at all the parties my mum and dad threw.
I told him we could go dancing soon at a salsa bar and I swear I could hear him hold back tears.
I love him so much.

The other day I tumbled down an entire concrete staircase and got this lovely hematoma. My gigantic thick winter coat saved my life. I do not have ANY other bruises. No soreness.
The tennisball sized bleed was "on" my muscle. had I rotated my arm slightly, I would've crushed bones said the doctor 🫠

I've been stuck with an old phone running Android 12 for 6 months. I got my new phone today and almost threw up over the difference 😅 my eyes needed a minute!
