I wish the different levels of Government would stay in their lane.
Don't get me wrong, I totally appreciate the PM trying to protect us. That said, if Canadians would actually learn our Civics maybe they wouldn't blame the Federal Gov. for their Provincial Gov. not doing their F🇨🇦cking Job.

I don't know the last time I listened to 40 minutes of our prime minister. I came away thinking Mark Carney is the right guy for the job. I cannot imagine any of the opposition leaders, Pierre Poilievre included, would be able to do what Canada needs right now.

A neat tool I just came across: Viabundus, a digital road map of northern Europe 1350-1650, that lets you calculate contemporary travel routes/times. In 1500, going Amiens → Köln by horse took almost 7 days and 13 toll payments.
