Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

ideal Saturday morning palate cleanser 🧵
On May 11, 1950, while working on the Rawlins National Bank in Wyoming, a construction crew unearthed a whiskey barrel that contained a human skeleton with its skull cap sawed off & an odd pair of shoes. Dr. Lillian Heath, now in her 80s, was asked if she knew anything about it...🧵

We live closer in time to a T rex than a T rex lived in relation to a Stegosaurs.
Man, everything is so bleak, anyone got a fun fact or little bit of trivia they want to share

Drew a Hound of Tindalos from a short story by Frank Belknap Long, released in a short story collection of his work in 1946.

The hounds are creatures that exist outside of time and space. They can emerge in the form of smoke from any angle of a certain sharpness, like the corner of a room.

Surrendering to the lurgy. Been having mad fever dreams and honestly having difficulty telling some of them apart from real life. Paracetamol and bed. Laters.

While this is great I recently had to sell 2x tickets via the official TM website at face value £25 (fine with me) but the buyer was charged service fees on top (approx £8/9 more per ticket). I’d already paid service and admin fees when buying in the 1st place (not included in sale)
Exclusive:

UK ministers plan to ban the resale of tickets for live events above their original cost, in an aggressive crackdown on touts and resellers who sharply increase the price of admission to concerts and sports events.

A great way to fight back against AI taking away work from creatives is to buy art by actual humans.
