There are much bigger stories going on, needless to say. But I had some thoughts on James Mangold's rendering of the Dylan legend - Bob, Timmy, Joan and the whole mispocha. Here 'tis.

This is LITERALLY just taking Mike Johnson’s lie and presenting it as fact.
Calling the requirement for a judicial warrant before entering a person’s home one of the Democrats’ “new restrictions on federal immigration agents” crosses the line into outright falsehood. It’s in the Bill of Rights! A rule as old as the republic.

I was enraged by this when it happened. It is journalistic malpractice for the post to pick it up.
This entire answer from Mike Johnson — the speaker of the House and a lawyer — must be seen.

It is fundamentally wrong on both points: as to administrative warrants (which need not be signed by immigration judges) and as to judicial warrants (which are not "new" for authorizing home entry).

A key part of the 2028 Democratic platform had better be to seize Trump's $400 million Qatari bribe plane so he doesn't get to just take it with him like he thinks he's going to, since we're paying to turn it into Air Force One anyway.

Regarding the controversy—Elise Stefanik ambushed Magill at that hearing with the evident goal of smearing her as an antisemite, which she is not (obviously). UPenn's loss is our gain.
