Yvette Cooper saying that Trump has been pursuing a "just and lasting peace for Ukraine" is a barefaced lie. And she knows it. The ass-kissing has to stop.

Watching David Dimbleby's interviews on #What'sTheMonarchyFor? it struck me just how much better - that's not adequate, how far into different universe he is - to the shrieking, hectoring "gotcha" style that characterises the likes of Kuenssberg, Mason and Vicki Young.

One of the best things about not being American - apart from not being American itself - is that I've only ever heard of one of these people.

#politicslive The final moments of the show saw a former Brexit Party member rehearse, unchallenged, arguments for Brexit from 2016 for several minutes. Danny Finkelstein replied incomprehensibly, but again uninterrupted. Stella Creasey was interrupted twice in roughly a minute by Vicki Young.

#politicslive If I want to see ransomers mouthing off, I can go to social media. I don't need to see them on #politicslive either on Zoom or in the studio, doing anecdotal rather than informed political analysis.

Think Kuenssberg is bad? Look at Vicki Young on #PoliticsLive -interrupts Stella Creasey three times in two minutes; snapped "Let Danny speak" at her when she'd barely got two sentences out; persistently talks over both Creasey and Finkelstein. As bad a presenter performance as you'll see.

How many people outside Westminster actually care about whether #Labour stick to the manifesto? Labour's problem has not been selling the offer, and convincing us that what they're doing will improve things.

Watching #Kuenssberg this morning, it underpins ALL of Kuenssberg's interview, and the hyperbolic language used by Piers Morgan - an increasingly frequent presence on this show.
This isn't "impartiality.'
November 30, 2025 at 9:41 AM
"Mislead the British people" "Appease their far left base" - this is hyperbolic language, and it's fine for a panellist to say it. But we've heard it from a number of #BBC voices too, and it indicates an intemperate approach which undermines their claims of "impartiality."
November 30, 2025 at 9:39 AM
#Kuenssberg's entire interview seems based on a "gotcha" - "you said this, but now you're doing something else." Gotcha journalism has infested the BBC, a sort of analysis which ignores the possibility that situations, facts, consequences or even opinions might change.
November 30, 2025 at 9:19 AM
#LauraKuenssberg Is it now #BBC policy to conduct every interview by interrupting, and hectoring throughout?
November 30, 2025 at 9:16 AM
#Ofcom should be on this like a rash. The press should be calling her "Britain's Most Racist Woman." But they won't. Because smacking the BBC over a bad but inconsequential edit, which changed NO-ONE'S opinion about Jan 6 is more important to them.
