While the DC cosplayers are escalating with Venezuela, China has sent a fleet of 100 ships to the Phillipine Sea and their air force locked radar (a hostile act) on two patrolling Japanese aircraft.

Nobody loves the idiotic pirate theater in the Caribbean more than Xi. We're asleep at the switch.

Susan Tincher, a 55-year-old American citizen, said agents told her in the truck that if she didn’t watch herself “they were going to pull me over to the side of the road and give me this OC,” law enforcement shorthand for pepper spray.

If you quit Twitter in protest and stayed away because it was taken over by propagandistic fascists...please boycott the World Cup and the Olympics. Don't go, don't watch, don't even look at the results. Don't support statist, corporatist sportswashing and the pillaging of public resources.

If you're a 107 licensed pilot, and were wondering about why the government all of a sudden loves Tik Tok but wants to ban DJI, look no further than a twenty-something in bed with Tr*mp's cronies. Quite a business plan: put the cheaper, technically better competitor out of business by banning it.
China makes 70% of the world’s drones. Blake Resnick wants to change that. Backed by Sam Altman and Peter Thiel, the Brinc founder is on his way to making his quadcopters the top choice for America’s cops—if only he can get the federal government to ban his primary competitor.

Here's your takeaway from TN-7

Republicans lost 14% of their support.

In 2024 Republicans got 49.8% of the vote nationwide in house races, Dems 47.2.

So extrapolating (dangerous work, I know)...that would work out to a 54-42 landslide in the 2026 generals, if TN-7 is predictive.

I realize this is aimed at migrantes (primarily from Mexico) but this would hit every Israeli-American and the likes of Dr. Oz and Melania. So I'll give it my bipartisan support just for the irony of unintended consequences.

I know self-driving cars have a bad rap in progressive circles -- thanks to that idiot running Tesla and their bad software QA, plus the usual anarchists in San Francisco (wink, jk) -- but consider the data. The single greatest leap forward in transportation safety is in front of us. (Gift article)

So, what outlets and reporters are investigating to see who got paid off to get the pardon for Hernandez? Tr*mp claims not only to not have read his appeal, but to be unfamiliar with the pardon which he himself granted.

Maybe the Auto-pen has become sentient?

I wonder what Adam Smith would make of a market "defying" a potentate?

Also: seriously, Times? That's the takeaway?

Biden didn't care that appalachia voted for Tr*mp 70 to 30. Neither does Tr*mp. There's nothing he won't stop at to screw over his most loyal constituencies, and they in turn are happy to get pushed in the mud as long as they have somebody to blame other than their own votes.

First Google blocked me from searching on a picture of my turkey giblets for "violating community standards". Now Facebook has "prevented [me] from posting a private intimate photo". The last photo I posted was of a pie.

Public service announcement: you can't refer to somebody who voted for the guy in 2024 and now has regrets as "former Tr*mp voter" because they blew their last chance to vote against him. They're Tr*mp voters forever.

And just expressing regret isn't enough. They owe everybody make-goods.

They used to name wars based on the cause or purported sparker of the conflict. E.G. The War of Jenkins' Ear, Queen Anne's War, Father Le Loutre's War, etc.

The name of this war is The Epstein Files War. (Don't use the resident of the White House's name, it's what he wants.)
